Now I have the stripes I want on one side of the car we need to get them painted on the rest of the car. To make sure that all the stripes line up I do them in the following order: Passenger side first, rear of car, driver's side then front. I use the car viewer to make sure that everything lines up. Note: I changed my mind about the white stripes after I made these pictures. I made the stripes blue instead. The making of the lines is the same regardless of what color you use.

Since the back stripes will be straight lines that's the tool I'll use to make them. I'll do one at a time in a new layer, You can use a layer that is already there, or make a new one the choice is yours as long as the layer is empty to begin with.

I draw a single line in what I think will be the right spot across the back of the car. Here's the reason why we did this on a blank layer; you now cut the image from the layer and paste it a s a new selection. This way you can move the stripe around on the back of the car until you get it where you want it. That's what I did to get the car to the point it is in the picture above. Notice that even though I have the bottom if the stripes lined up its not lined up at the top. I'll paste the stripe as a new selection again and go through the same procedure for the first line to get the top part of the line correct. Once the bottom stripe is done I'll repeat the procedure for the top line. Fun eh?
This
is what the back looks like after pasting in a couple more stripes, and moving
them to the right spots. Now I have to add the driver's side stripes.
